The award-winning independent film and television production company, Left Bank Pictures, have been based at Antenna whilst working on the new gripping drama, “Without Sin”, starring Line of Duty star, Vicky McClure. With production now wrapped and the show set to air on ITV in early-2022, the production team, who have made Antenna their home since Autumn 2021, will be moving onto their next project hopefully not too far away!
“Without Sin” features leading lady McClure as Stella Tomlinson, mother to 14-year old daughter, Maisy, whom she finds dead at their family home with ghastly, hooded figure, Charles Stone, standing over her. Speaking of the new thriller, ITV’s Head of Drama, Polly Hill calls Without Sin “a brilliantly compelling story carefully dealing with a mother’s grief at the loss of her daughter. Vicky and Johnny Harris as Stella and Charles will be addictive viewing!”.
Made in Nottingham
The four-part mini-series has been a truly local production, with many members of the crew hailing from Nottingham and the East Midlands, including Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies alumnus, Ben Raven, who has been working on the production as a camera trainee:
“The last few months working with Left Bank Pictures have been a great pleasure. I have had the best time working on Without Sin with a superb cast and crew. I have been given a huge insight into the TV industry and I have made many connections during this shoot whilst working closely with a number of different departments.
“My experience as camera trainee has greatly improved my technical skills and working on a production this big coming out of University is a huge honour, and particularly for it being based in my home town of Nottingham. It is sad that is has come to an end, but I can’t wait for it to be aired and for everyone to see the show.
“Whilst I spent the majority of the production on location, when I did work from the Production Office in Antenna the staff were always friendly and helpful, and the food in their restaurant is delicious!”
