The Cricketer – member profile

Jim Hindson of The Cricketer sat at a table in Antenna co-working space and restaurant

We caught up with some of our tenants, virtual tenants and members to see what they love about Antenna and how they find working in our space.

Jim Hindson is the Managing Director at Cricket Archive, owned by The Cricketer, who use Antenna as a base.

What do you/your company do?

We have two businesses. The Cricketer is the best-known and most reputable publishing brand in the game, connecting with six million enthusiasts every month through monthly magazine and digital channels. We celebrate our one hundredth birthday in 2021! Cricket Archive is the most comprehensive, searchable and trusted cricket database in the world.

Why did you pick Antenna as your base?

I picked Antenna because our head office is based in London – and I live in West Bridgford. I commute a couple of times a week to London and was looking for a cost-effective and flexible hot desking solution in Nottingham. Antenna has fit the bill perfectly.

What do you like about working from Antenna?

Antenna has lots of fantastic selling points for me. It is a half-hour walking commute, which I love. The WiFi is excellent, it is meticulously clean (and Covid-19 secure) and the food is great!

Are you excited to return now the spaces have reopened?

Like lots of people I have been working at home but could not wait to get back into Antenna. The joy of leaving home to come into work and as importantly, leaving work behind to head home at the end of the day is not lost on me.
